Worship method

On the day of worship, wake up early in the morning, clean the house and take a bath. Sprinkle Ganga water and cleanse the place of worship and house. Lay red or yellow cloth at a clean post. Lord Ganesha and Goddess Mahalakshmi sit on the rice outpost. Make a pile of rice and light a big, unbroken ghee lamp. Keep a vessel full of water on the right side of the platform. Place a coin, betel nut and turmeric in a cloth. Place mango leaves on its mouth and place a coconut on it. Apply it tilak. Offer flowers and garlands. Offer puffedness, sugarcane, sweets and fruits to the goddess. Chant Vedic mantras. First of all perform the Aarti of Lord Ganesha and then perform the Aarti of Goddess Lakshmi. Apologize for any mistake during worship. After the puja is completed, light a lamp in every corner, doors, windows and courtyards of the house.
