Ayodhya, Amrit Vichar: The rituals have started with grand events in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex regarding the flag hoisting program on the peak of Ram temple. Mandap puja and recitation of Vedic mantras along with invocation of deities echoed in the Ram temple complex.
Vedic Acharya started the rituals in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex. The morning started with the darshan and praise of Lord Ramlala by the guests. Under the leadership of the eminent scholar Vedic Acharya Ganeshwar Shastri, 108 Vedic Acharyas from Ayodhya, Kashi and South India purified the Saryu water, worshiped the Yagya Mandap and 27 Yajamanas participating in the rituals circumambulated the Mandap. After which, after entering the Yagyashala, the Utsav idol and Ramarcha were worshiped and the gods were invoked. At the same time, Ramcharitmanas recitation and Shri Ram Raksha Stotra were recited by 51 Acharyas in the Yagyashala. At the end of the first day’s rituals, the rituals were concluded with Havan by lighting the fire in the Yagya Kund with Vedic mantras.
Dr. Anil Mishra, the chief host of the ritual and a member of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, said that the Yagya Mandap built in the premises was entered after the Kavidi Vidhan Sabha puja. After invoking the gods and performing ritual worship by the Vedic Acharyas, offerings were made in the Havan Kund. He said that this ritual will continue for about six hours till the 24th. Told that in Sheshavtar temple and all the temples of Parkota, rituals are being performed with the host by the Vedic Acharya. Every day Ramcharitmanas recitation, Valmiki Ramayana recitation and Shri Ram Raksha Stotra are being recited.
