Lucknow, Amrit Vichar. Ushered in the New Year through bhajans in an emotional evening of bhajans on New Year’s Eve at Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple. A large number of devotees were present in this Bhajan Sandhya event to listen to the famous bhajan singer Kishore Chaturvedi.
Kishore Chaturvedi ushered in the New Year by singing Shri Ram Chandra Kripalu Bhajman and making emotional pronunciation of Om. On the request of the devotees, Kishore Chaturvedi drenched the devotees with joy by presenting Ek Nazre Karam Karna Bajrangbali Baba… and Kabir’s composition :- Bhala Hua Meri Matki Footi…
In this sequence, Rashmi Chaturvedi presented the emotional bhajan Payo Ji Maine Ram Ratan Dhan Payo…. At the end of this program which lasted till late night, Kishore Chaturvedi concluded the bhajan program by reciting Hanuman Chalisa.
In this bhajan evening conducted by Anupam Awasthi, Kishore Chaturvedi and Rashmi Chaturvedi were accompanied by Vikas Awasthi on tabla, Rajkumar on dholak, Santosh Tiwari on harmonium and Jyoti Prakash Shukla on accompaniment. During the bhajan evening, temple secretary Diwakar Tripathi extended best wishes for the New Year and honored the artists by giving them body clothes.
