According to the Hindu calendar, Ekadashi of Krishna Paksha of Jyeshtha month is called Apara Ekadashi. This year this holy date is being celebrated on 13 May 2026. Apara Ekadashi is considered to be related to Ekadashi, the main deity of Hindu religion. It is believed that fasting with devotion on this day destroys sins and brings happiness and prosperity in life.
