Samastipur. In order to realize the ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ and ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ campaign of the Government of India, IRCTC is going to operate Bharat Gaurav tourist train on January 18 from Bettiah railway station of Samastipur division. The purpose of starting this train is to allow the passengers to visit the major religious and pilgrimage sites of the country. IRCTC Regional Manager Rajesh Kumar said in this regard on Friday that this train has been specially designed keeping the pilgrims in mind. Through this, passengers will be taken to visit the famous religious places of South India including two Jyotirlingas.
The special thing about the train is that a temple has also been arranged in one of its compartments, where devotees will be able to make their journey spiritual and memorable by performing bhajans and kirtans. Regional Manager Shri Kumar said that this journey will especially provide an opportunity to the travelers from Bihar and Eastern India to get acquainted with the spiritual richness, cultural diversity and religious heritage of South India.
During the yatra, the devotees will be taken to many major pilgrimage sites including Tirupati Balaji, Padmavati Temple, Ramanathaswamy Jyotirling, Meenakshi Temple, Mallikarjun Jyotirling, Jagannath Dham and Vivekananda Rock Memorial. He said that this entire pilgrimage will be of 14 nights and 15 days, in which proper arrangements will be made for the facilities, food and accommodation of the pilgrims.
