Lucknow, Amrit Vichar: A wonderful scene of devotion and faith was seen on the first day of the Yagya organized at Shri Mahakal Temple located in Rajendra Nagar. The program started with the grand flag march of Baba Mahakal. Hundreds of devotees participated in this yatra and the atmosphere became Shiva-filled with chants of Har Har Mahadev throughout the route. Devotees were walking with flags in their hands and were seen dancing engrossed in devotion to Shiva.
After the flag march, the altar was worshiped as per rituals. After this, the sacred fire of Yagya was lit by Arani Manthan, which started the Yagya. Yagya was performed with chanting of mantras and Vedic rituals, due to which the atmosphere became completely spiritual. Sunderkand Paath was organized in the temple premises at 6 pm, in which a large number of devotees participated. The main hosts of this Yagya were PP Chaturvedi, Alok Gupta, DS Dubey, Gaurav Gupta, Rahul Aggarwal, Shailendra Sahu, Jitendra Sahu and Sunil Arora.
