Lucknow, Amrit Vichar: On the eve of Hindu New Year and Chaitra Navratri, the grand festival of lights organized in the Anandi Mata Temple complex located at Chowk added a memorable chapter in the cultural history of the capital. As the evening approached, the entire Chowk area was illuminated with the supernatural light of 7001 lamps and the presence of thousands of devotees turned it into a huge celebration of public faith.

A wonderful confluence of devotion, culture and social unity was seen in this program organized under the aegis of Anandi Water Park. As soon as the grand procession with Aarti from various temples of the city reached Anandi Mata temple, the entire atmosphere echoed with “Jai Shri Ram” and devotional songs.

The main attraction of the program was the mass lighting of 7001 lamps, which was inaugurated by former minister of Uttar Pradesh government and Madhya Pradesh in-charge Mahendra Singh by lighting the lamp. As soon as the lamps were lit, the garlands adorning the Chowk intersection and the temple premises presented a divine and mesmerizing scene.

The grand tableau of Shiva Shakti presented in the program was the special center of attraction. The resonating chanting of mantras and the sound of bells during Bhasma Aarti gave a deep spiritual experience to the devotees.

Other tableaux presented by Lucky Group gave a vibrant glimpse of Indian culture, deities and religious traditions, which enthralled the audience. The bhajan evening of Khatu Shyam Orchestra team immersed the entire atmosphere in devotion. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Councilor Anurag Mishra, Kailash Chandra Jain Sarafa Association General Secretary Vinod Maheshwari, Anandi Water Park Managing Director Pankaj Aggarwal, Dr. Rajkumar Verma, Adish Jain, Siddharth Jain, Lokesh Aggarwal, Mahila Mandal Chowk’s Ritu Maheshwari, Ekta Aggarwal, Jyoti Aggarwal Payal Ghansani Ritu Kapoor, Anju Aggarwal, Ranjan Dwivedi Bright Career School and many women also participated in the event. Participated enthusiastically.
