Ayodhya. A wonderful confluence of tableaux of the Ramayana period was seen on Sunday under the Deepotsav 2025 in Ayodhya, the holy city of Lord Shri Ram. As soon as Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh flagged off the tableaux from the Saket College campus by playing drums and waving the flag of Jai Shri Ram, the entire atmosphere echoed with the slogan of Jai Shri Ram. As soon as these tableaux reached the Rampath, it seemed as if the glory and dignity of Treta Yuga had returned to the present.
During the Ayodhya cultural procession, Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said that under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath, since 2017, the program of Deepotsav is being celebrated with divinity, grandeur and supernaturalness on the holy land of Lord Ram.
The Tourism Minister said that under the leadership of CM Yogi, we are breaking our own records and setting new records every time. This time three new records will be made. If a record is made for the number of lamps, 1100 drones will perform simultaneously. More than 2100 scholars will perform the aarti of Saryu ji together.
The Tourism Minister said that our country will lead the world by realizing the concept of Ram Rajya and will become a developed country. He said that today the Uttar Pradesh government is organizing the ninth edition of Deepotsav with divinity and grandeur on the land of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram.
The supernatural and divinity of the tableaux will also be visible here. On behalf of the state government, the Tourism Minister congratulated all the countrymen and people who believe in Sanatan all over the world on the sacred occasion of this festival of lights.
Grand tableaux left for Ramkatha Park
As soon as 22 tableaux of the Information Department, Ayodhya Development Authority and Tourism-Culture Department passed through the Rampath, a crowd of devotees gathered. These tableaux, decorated with live characters and modern technology, brought to life the life of Shri Ram and the seven episodes of Ramayana – Balakand, Ayodhyakand, Aranyakand, Kishkindhakand, Sunderkand, Lankakand and Uttarkand. Every tableau seemed to tell its own story.
Somewhere there was the joy of Ram’s birth, and somewhere there was the bravery of conquering Lanka. Artists brought alive the dignity, devotion and ideals of Treta Yuga through music, dance and acting.
Glimpse of developed Uttar Pradesh and cultural heritage
The achievements of Yogi government were depicted in the tableaus of the Information Department. Glimpses of schemes like Prayagraj Mahakumbh, Kashi Corridor, Defense Corridor, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Chief Minister Awas Yojana, Clean and Green Uttar Pradesh, Self-reliant Women, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, Ayushman Cashless were seen.
These tableaux displayed a unique confluence of development and culture. Where modern Uttar Pradesh appeared to be moving ahead in accordance with the spirit of Ram Rajya.
Amazing confluence of flower shower, aarti and folk dances on Rampath
As the tableaux passed through the Rampath, devotees showered flowers at various places, lit lamps and performed aarti. Groups of artists kept making the atmosphere devotional through drums and folk dances along the way. Phag of Haryana, Kathakali of Kerala, Jhumar of Rajasthan, Bhangra of Punjab, Sambalpuri of Odisha, folk arts of West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh gave a national character to the event. The entire route was filled with devotion, music and joy.
Former MP Lallu Singh, Mayor Mahant Girishpati Tripathi, MLA Ramchandra Yadav, MLA Ved Prakash Gupta, MLA Chandrabhanu Paswan and other BJP leaders were present during the Shobha Yatra.
Ramnagari became a confluence of devotion, development and culture
This event of Deepotsav 2025 gave the message that Ayodhya is not just a pilgrimage but the heart of India’s cultural consciousness. The light of lakhs of lamps and the grandeur of the tableaux once again proved that when faith and development go together, the result is like a glimpse of Ram Rajya.
