Barabanki/Ram Sanehi Ghat, Amrit Vichar: A unique scene of devotion was seen in Aliabad market on Monday morning. 84 As soon as the huge group of sadhus and saints doing Kosi Parikrama reached the market, the whole area echoed with the slogan of ‘Jai Shri Ram’. The local people welcomed the sages and saints by showering flowers and the road was drenched in the name of Lord Ram.
After resting at Santnami Bhajanashram late on Sunday night, the Parikrama team proceeded from Aliabad at around 6 am. The sages and saints continued to move ahead with Ramdhun, while women and senior devotees also participated in the parikrama with full faith.
Color of devotion all along the way, devotees welcomed us at every place
There was a devotional atmosphere throughout the route. At many places, villagers welcomed the parikrama by distributing water, prasad and fruits. At some places, dancing was being done to the tune of Ram’s name and at some places everyone from children to the elderly were seen raising slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’. The atmosphere was filled with both devotion and enthusiasm.
Mahant Govind Das took over the leadership
“This parikrama is being led by Mahant Shri Govind Das Maharaj. He told that this yatra is a major stop of the 84 Kosi Parikrama of Ayodhya. Mahant Govind Das said that the saint community is excited by the construction of the temple of Lord Shri Ram and it is the good fortune of every saint to get blessings by circumambulating the birthplace.
Police administration ready, circumambulation was carried out after diverting the route
The police also remained fully alert regarding security arrangements during the parikrama. Police station in-charge Manoj Kumar Sonkar and Aliabad outpost in-charge Rakesh Kumar Tiwari continued moving with the police force. Giving priority to the convenience of the devotees, the police team also made diversions for the pedestrians, so that the parikrama could proceed unhindered.
This parikrama in Aliabad market turned out to be a wonderful confluence of spiritual faith, social cooperation and devotion to Ram.
