Amrit Vichar: The world famous Kainchi Dham of Uttarakhand is ready to celebrate its grand foundation day. The police administration has drawn a blueprint ranging from traffic to security arrangements. Foundation Day is on 15th June. Police force will be on guard at every nook and corner. A crowd of more than 5 lakh devotees is likely to gather at Kainchi Dham. There are special preparations for crowd management. More than 200 buses have been arranged to take the devotees to the ashram. Entry of private vehicles will be completely closed. Let us take a look at the religious significance of Kainchi Dham and what kind of preparations have been made by the police and administration for the fair to be organized here on the foundation day.
Kainchi Dham Ashram was established in 1946. Neem Karoli Baba laid its foundation. Since then, the process of celebrating the grand foundation day continues every year. Lakhs of devotees from across the country and the world become part of the celebrations. Come to see Baba.
Kainchi Dham Ashram is at some distance from Nainital. Shipra is between two hills near the river. Winding mountain paths lead to the ashram. This ashram built in the lap of nature has become synonymous with peace and tranquility.
From Steve Jobs, founder of the world’s leading tech company Apple, to Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook, Neem Karoli Baba is counted among his devotees. Every year lakhs of devotees from India and abroad come to visit Kainchi Dham.
Believe in incarnation of Hanuman ji
Devotees of Neem Karoli Baba consider him to be the incarnation of Hanumanji. There are three main temples built in Kainchi Dham, which include the temple of Mata Vaishno Devi, Hanuman Ji and Neem Karoli Baba. A grand fair is held here every year on 15th June to commemorate the foundation day of the ashram and the birth anniversary of Baba.
How to reach by train
People from outside Uttarakhand want to come to Kainchi Dham by train. They will have to get down at Kothgodam railway station. From here one can reach Kainchi Dham Ashram via bus-taxi. The distance is barely 38 to 40 kilometers.
Traffic plan from 13 to 16 June
Devotees have started flocking to Kainchi Dham. The police administration has made a detailed traffic plan for June 13 to 16. Shuttle arrangements have been made for outside and local devotees.
Vehicles coming to Kainchi Dham from Delhi-NCR, Dehradun, Haridwar and Moradabad via Ramnagar-Kaladhungi will be sent towards Gaulapar Kathgodam via Nayagaon Tiraha via Nainital, RTO Road Tiraha, Panchayat Ghar Tiraha, Bareilly Road Teen Pani Tiraha. Shuttle service will be available on this route also.
This route for those coming from Bareilly
At the same time, vehicles coming from Rampur route will be diverted from Sugarcane Centre, Sheetal Hotel and sent towards Gaulapar Kathgodam via Bareilly Road, Tinpani Tirah. Shuttle service will be available here also. Whereas vehicles coming from Bareilly Road will be sent from Tinpani Tiraha towards Gaulapar Kathgodam. Will go further by shuttle service.
