Ayodhya, immortal thoughts. A large number of devotees reached Ayodhya on Tuesday for Kartik Purnima bath. Monasteries and temples became buzzing with crowds of devotees. Tight security arrangements have been made in the zones and sectors of the fair area. The third eye has been sharpened. The main bathing festival started at 9:07 pm on Tuesday night. This will continue till about quarter to seven on Wednesday evening.
This is the last festival of Kartik Purnima and Parikrama fair. There was a huge crowd on the main roads and streets of Ayodhya on Tuesday evening for the Kartik Purnama bath. After worshiping in the temples, the devotees were waiting for the bathing festival to start. The maximum crowd is likely to be there from 3 am to 12 noon on Wednesday.
In this regard, the administration has made security arrangements along with civil facilities. The fair area has been divided into five zones and police officers have been deployed along with super zonal, sub zonal, sector and static magistrates. Maximum focus is on ghat zone. Devotees will take bath in Saryu in this zone. After the bath, the crowd of devotees will head towards the major temples. In such a situation, Nageshwar Nath, Hanumangarhi, Kanak Bhawan have also been made zones. These temples are likely to be the most crowded.
During the crowd of lakhs, traffic system will be of utmost importance. 24 magistrates have been deployed to handle the crowd and take it through organized routes. Police officers along with static magistrates have been deployed at various places. Officers are instructed to check their duty stations before starting the bath. In the evening, senior officers of the administration and police gave a briefing to the appointed magistrates about their responsibilities.
Traffic system will change
In view of the huge crowd during the bath, the traffic system of Ayodhya will remain changed. Entry of vehicles will be prohibited in the interior areas of Ayodhya. With this, the administration has already issued an advisory regarding vehicles coming and going from other districts including the highway.

Officers inspected the fair area and gave instructions
Commissioner Rajesh Kumar, Inspector General of Police Praveen Kumar, District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram Funde and Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Gaurav Grover conducted on-site inspection of Ram Ki Paidi and Kachcha Ghat/Pakka Ghat in view of Kartik Purnima Snan. Saw the arrangements. Instructed for improvement.
During the inspection, instructions were given to make barricading at Ram Ki Pauri, at the turn and to level the land where it is not level. Asked for strong barricading at Kachchaghat/Pakkaghat. Instructions were given to the concerned officers to make arrangements for bathing at the ghat for the devotees coming for Kartik Purnima bath, security check by water police, better arrangements for cleanliness of bathrooms and toilets for women. During the inspection, Additional District Magistrate City, Additional Superintendent of Police City, CO Ayodhya, Executive Engineer Construction Block-3 and officials of the executing agency were present.
