Ayodhya, Amrit Vichar: For easy transportation of devotees during Kartik Purnima and Parikrama fair, the Transport Corporation has made preparations to run 120 fair special buses. These buses will be operated by building a temporary bus station at Balu Ghat. Except in unavoidable circumstances, no officer or employee of the corporation will be given leave. ARM Aditya Prakash of Ayodhya Depot has been made the fair officer.
The Kartik fair will start on 30th October and will end with the Kartik Purnima bath on 5th November. During this period, lakhs of devotees from nearby districts and far away places come to Ayodhya. In this regard, the Transport Corporation has made preparations to run 120 fair special buses from 29th October to 6th November.
For this, 25 special buses will be operated for Gonda, 10 for Balrampur, 5 for Bahraich, 20 for Basti, 15 each for Gorakhpur, Ambedkar Nagar and Sultanpur and 5 each for Rae Bareli, Lucknow and Tanda.
Regional Manager of Ayodhya Zone, Vimal Rajan said that if the crowd increases, additional buses will also be operated from Basti and Siddharthnagar depots of Gorakhpur zone and Gonda and Bahraich depots of Devipatan zone. Staff has also been deployed at the temporary bus station.
