Lucknow/Varanasi, Amrit thoughts: The supernatural and amazing shade of the Ardhachandara Ghats of Kashi wearing a garland of lamps will be seen on Dev Deepawali. The Yogi government has started preparing to make it historical and grand. Dev Deepawali, declared as a provincial fair, will be celebrated on 5 November. There are plans to illuminate the ghats with more than 1 million lamps. Of these, about one lakh lamps will be made of cow dung.
A large number of domestic and foreign guests come to Kashi to see the unique view of Dev Deepawali. There will also be a laser show and green fireworks on Dev Deepawali. Joint Director (Tourism) Dinesh Kumar informed that the Ganges ghats will be illuminated with 10.10 lakh lamps on Dev Deepawali. Apart from this, the ghats will be illuminated with fasad lights and electric lights.
Ganga festival will be held from 1 to 4 November
The joint director of the tourism department informed that the cultural program Ganga Festival will be organized at Rajghat from 1 to 4 November before Dev Deepawali. Apart from this, religious stories related to Kashi will be shown through the laser show at Chet Singh Ghat.
