Astrologer SS Nagpal told that on March 14, there was a bad situation due to Sun moving into Pisces. It expires on 14th April. Marriages and other auspicious functions can be organized from April 15. There are 16 auspicious times for marriage from 15th April to 14th May. After this, Jyeshtha Malmas will be observed from 17th May to 15th June. Even in this month, auspicious activities like marriage are considered prohibited. Malamas comes after every 32 months and 16 days. An extra month is added to the calendar to balance the difference between the lunar year (354 days) and the solar year (365 days). This is called Adhik Maas, Purushottam Maas or Malmaas. There are 12 marriage auspicious times from 21st June to 12th July. After this, Chaturmas will start from Devshayani Ekadashi on 25th July. Marriages and other auspicious functions will not take place during these four months. Marriage functions will start again with Devuthani Ekadashi on 20th November.
