Lucknow, Amrit Vichar: An eight-day Shiv Mahapuran Katha is being organized by the All India Uttarakhand Mahasabha. On Saturday, Kalash Yatra was taken out from the Shiva temple of SKD Academy in Vrindavan Colony. 101 women reached the Gyan Sarovar Vidyalaya Katha Sthal carrying the urn. The hosts of the first day, Bhawan Singh Rawat, Adhiraj Singh Kathait and Mahavir Khantwal, invoked the God and performed the Katha ritual puja. Pandit Mukesh Shukla will recite the story every day from 3 pm till November 1.
In the Kalash Yatra, RP Juyal, Puran Bisht, Ashok Aswal, Rajendra Singh Rawat, Kishan Singh Bisht, Anoop Bisht, Keshav Vitalu, Hemant Singh Gadiya, Harish Rautela, DD Nariyal, Jagdish Butola, Ravindra Bisht, Narayan Joshi, Somendr Bisht, Jagdish Bisht, Balwant Vanagi, Sangeeta Rawat, Sunanda Aswal, Rajni Rana, Sangeeta Singh, Usha Pandey, Neelam Juyal, Archana Bora, Amba Bisht, Bimla Bisht, Sarla Negi, Bina Gadiya, Sushila Rautela, Lata Rawat, Kamla Kathait, Meena Vitalu, Vineeta Pandey were also present.
