The fair will end on February 1, Maghi Purnima, but the fair lasts 15 February till Mahashivratri. This time the work is starting due to the delay due to the flood. Now October, November and December, three months are left for the preparations for the fair. The biggest task is the measurement of land to settle the Magh Mela and it takes more time.
This time a survey is being conducted to settle the fair with a drone, on the basis of mapping, sectors will be built. It is believed that in a week, the water level of Ganga and Yamuna will also go down considerably, after which the fair administration will start preparing for the fair by conducting a survey with a drone. The Fair Authority will start preparations from October itself.
However, the fair administration has started the tender process of various departments. For the first time, magistrates will be posted on the post of sector in -charge at Magh Mela. Earlier, Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar were made sector in -charge in Magh Mela. Now the new post has become a sector supervisor on which Naib Tehsildar and Revenue Inspector will be deployed. This time a total of eight pantoon bridges will be built in the Magh Mela area. Six pantuns were built at the last Magh Mela.
In fact, the construction of a pantoon bridge over the Ganges near Phaphamau bridge was understood by the authority so that the traffic system will be done correctly. At the same time, the entire fair will be distributed in six sectors. Vijay Kiran Anand, vice president of the Prayagraj Mela Authority, said that officers have been deployed in the Mela Authority for the preparations for the Magh Mela.
The team has been installed. Tender procedures have been started by the departments for various tasks. Survey from drone will be conducted by the end of this month to settle the fair. Magistrate is also being deployed to the post of sector in -charge.
