Lucknow, Amrit Vichar. Farewell prayers were offered at Masjid-e-Abutalib on Dubagga Hardoi Road on Friday under the imamate of Maulana Afzal Haider. In his sermon at Namaz-e-Juma, he said that the blessed month of Ramadan is nearing its end.
Those people are very fortunate who filled their bags with the blessings and mercy of Allah in this holy month, and obtained forgiveness of their sins by crying and praying.
Maulana Afzal Haider said on this occasion that Jumatul Vida makes one realize that now only a few days are left, and that holy month is about to end in which the forgiveness of sins is prayed to the divine court every day.
He stressed that whatever shortcoming or negligence has been done in honoring this month, forgiveness should be sought sincerely in the court of Allah. The days that are left should be appreciated and the blessings of mercy should be obtained by forgiving one’s sins.
