The holy festival of Navratri, which is celebrated for nine days across the country, is going on with pomp and reverence. During this time nine different forms of Maa Durga are worshiped. This year a special and amazing coincidence is being made, due to which the worship of Maa Chandraghanta will be done on 24 and 25 September 2025. This is happening because Tritiya Tithi is falling for two days on the third day of Navratri and on September 25, Tritiya and Chaturthi are being confluent. This rare opportunity is considered very auspicious and the worship of the mother is especially received by worshiping this day.
Who is mother Chandraghanta?
In Hinduism, the third day of the nine forms of Maa Durga is dedicated to Maa Chandraghanta. She is considered the goddess of courage and valor. His name is due to an hour -sized crescent on his forehead. Their form is going to remove enemy fear and negative energy. It is believed that worshiping him leads to the development of confidence and patience in the mind of the seeker. Worship method of Maa Chandraghanta
Mother Chandraghanta is worshiped with devotion and reverence.
First of all, place a clean posture on the place of worship of the house and install the idol or picture of the mother.
Sitting on the seat in peace, meditate on Maa Chandraghanta and chant her mantra ‘Om Chandraghantayai Namah’.
Light a lamp in front of the mother and offer incense sticks or incense.
Offer them red and yellow flowers, sweets, fruits, makeup and pure water.
At the end of worship, perform the aarti of the mother and pray to them for courage, peace and prosperity.
