This year Sharad Navratri starts on 22 September. In these nine days, devotees perform worship, havan, bhajan, kirtan and meditation. According to religious traditions, it is important to follow certain rules during Navratri. So let’s know about the rules of Navratri.

Worship at the appointed time

According to religious beliefs, Goddess Durga should always be worshiped at the same time. This time can be around sunrise in the morning or in the evening. Worshiping regularly increases mental concentration and maintains positive energy in the house.

The unbroken light should always be burnt.

If you have lit a unbroken light in your house during Navratri, then it should keep burning continuously for a full nine days. It is believed that if the light is extinguished, it is considered an inauspicious sign. It is believed that keeping the unbroken light ignited keeps happiness, prosperity and positive energy in the house.

Offer right goddess right day

Each day of Navratri, a different form of Goddess Durga is worshiped. Therefore, according to the goddess of that day, offerings, fruits, flowers and sweets should be made. By offering the right goddess the right day, the fruits of worship doubled and positive changes occur in life.

Must worship Virgo

Virgo worship in Navratri: On the eighth or ninth day, nine girls are worshiped, who are considered to be the form of Goddess. This brings happiness, prosperity and peace in the house. It is believed that it destroys negative energy and gives the desired results in life.
