Sharadiya Navratri, which falls on the Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month, brings a wonderful confluence of devotion and enthusiasm throughout India. This is the holy time when Mother Durga (Maa Durga avatar) appears and shows her grace on everyone. During this time, grand statues of Goddess are decorated in pandals everywhere and devotees make the atmosphere blissful by cheering. This year, Sharadiya Navratri will be celebrated with great reverence and enthusiasm till October 2, 2025, starting from 22 September, 2025. Navratri begins with Ghatasthapana or Kalash installation and lasts for nine days. During these nine days, the devotees worship the nine divine forms of the Goddess devotionally and fasten and experience the purification of their mind and soul.

First Navratri: Maa Shailputri
