Ayodhya, Amrit Vichar: Sitaram Vivah Mahotsav has started in Ramnagari with religious rituals and a grand celebration of Ram Katha in the temples. On November 25, on the occasion of Vivah Panchami, Ram procession will be taken out from 15 temples. The main attraction of Ram Vivah will be the ancient Dasharatha Palace.
There is a belief in Hindu tradition that the marriage procession goes through the father’s door, this tradition will be followed even today. It will be decorated with 50 quintals of flowers. Apart from this, bands from Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan have been invited. Shehnai team from Kashi will be the attraction in the festival.
Mahant Ram Bhushan Das Kripalu, the successor of Dashrath Mahal, told that the organization of Ram Katha has started from today regarding the marriage of Lord Ram Sita. Different religious rituals will be performed every day, a procession will be taken out on 25th November. In which all the saints and Ram devotees of Ayodhya will be included. This event is attaining its grandeur before the consecration of life in Ram temple. Bands from different states have also been called for the event. Ram procession will be taken out with elephant, horse and palanquin.
