Astrologers are considering this as a special combination of coincidences. On Shivratri, there will be Sarvartha Siddhi and other auspicious yogas (Vyatipat, Variyaan) till 7:48 pm with Uttarashadha Nakshatra and then with Shravan Nakshatra. Which is considered best for worship. On the other hand, preparations have started in the temples for Mahashivratri in the city.

On the occasion of the festival, astrologer Pt. Manoj Kumar Dwivedi told that Chaturdashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Phalgun month will start on 15th February at 5.04 pm. The date will end the next day i.e. on 16th February at 5.34 pm. According to the rules of the scriptures, the festival of Mahashivratri is celebrated when Chaturdashi Tithi also falls during Nishith period. In such a situation, due to Chaturdashi date being during Nishith period on 15th February, the festival of Mahashivratri will be celebrated on Sunday, 15th February.

A rare coincidence happened this time

On Mahashivratri, Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga will remain for the whole day. On February 15, there will be Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga from 7 am to 7.48 pm. This yoga indicates success and progress in all tasks of life. Along with this, Vyatipat and Variyaan Yoga are also being formed. Vyatipat Yoga will be present throughout the day, which is considered very effective for spiritual practice and mantra chanting.

Special importance of Shiva worship

The combination of Uttarashadha and Shravan Nakshatra symbolizes the union of Shiva-Shakti, due to which both the energy of the Sun (brightness, success) and the results of the Moon (mental peace, coolness) will be received and there will be accomplishment in the work done. Worshiping in this yoga will bring happiness, peace, health and success in life. Shravan Nakshatra will start on 15th February at 7.48 pm and will continue till 8.47 am on 16th February.

Shravan Nakshatra is considered a symbol of knowledge, spiritual practice and spiritual progress. Nishita Kaal is considered to be the most important time of Mahashivratri puja, Nishita Kaal Muhurta will be from 11:57 pm to 12:48 pm. Apart from this, there will be Abhijeet Muhurta from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm and Amritkaal from 12:59 pm to 2:41 pm, which is considered extremely fruitful for worship and auspicious works.

The first phase will be from 6:01 pm to 9:12 pm on 15th February. Similarly, the second Prahar will be from 9:12 pm on 15th February to 12:22 pm on 16th February. On the other hand, the third Prahar will be from 12:22 am to 3:33 am on 16th February. The fourth Prahar will be from 3:33 am to 6:44 am on 16th February.

In the scriptures, the special importance of worshiping Shiva in all four hours of the night of Mahashivratri has been mentioned. Worship of each Prahar has a different spiritual result. By worshiping all four Prahars, it is believed that one gets freedom from obstacles related to wealth, fame, stability, and children.

Preparations begin in temples

Due to the huge crowd of devotees in the temples of Mahadev on Mahashivratri, preparations have started. In these, special emphasis is being laid on security preparedness. Decoration work has also started in other temples including Anandeshwar Temple, Jageshwar Mahadev Temple, Vankhandeshwar Temple, Nageshwar Temple located in Parmat. On the other hand, preparations are also in the final stages for the Sadhna Sargam Night to be held at the Shiv Temple located at Ghantaghar in Swaroop Nagar. This time the special decoration of flowers in the temple will be the center of attraction for the devotees.
