Lucknow, Amrit Vichar: Under the Adopt Heritage Policy, the state government is continuously making efforts to conserve the state protected religious places and historical heritage. The Culture Department has selected Smarak Mitras for a total of 14 monuments including 10 in the second phase of this policy.
Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said on Thursday that the selected places include Gopinath Temple Vrindavan, Potrakund Mathura, Vigara Ki Garhi and Lakshmi Temple Jhansi, Kusumvan Sarovar Mathura, Raskhan’s Samadhi Mathura, Balmiki Ashram Bithoor, Tikaitarai Shiv Temple Bithoor, Shiv Temple Pond Muratganj Kaushambi, Sarnath Temple, Darbagh and Larwak. Mirzapur, Govardhan Temple and Gurudham Temple Varanasi are included.
