All variants of the 2026 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross come with a 4WD system and auto-locking differential as standard.
Isuzu Motors India has updated its lifestyle pick-up D-Max V-Cross for the 2026 model year. This update includes some cosmetic changes, new features and a major mechanical change. Ex-showroom prices of the new V-Cross start from Rs 25.50 lakh and go up to Rs 30.28 lakh (Delhi).
Now this pick-up will be available only with 4×4 drivetrain, as the company has discontinued the 4×2 option. Talking about design, mild changes have been made in the front fascia. The grille has been given a new look, with a thick black lip added at the bottom. The lower part of the bumper gets less cladding than before and the faux skid plate element has been removed.
Newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels are available in the side profile. Also, the black cladding on the wheel arches and side body has been removed, making the look a bit cleaner and premium. Changes are also seen in the interior. The top variant now features a new 10.3-inch floating touchscreen in place of the old 9.0-inch unit. The system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
New contrast trim inserts have been added to the dashboard and door panels, making the cabin look more modern. Apart from this, a 360-degree camera system has also been added, whose cameras are installed in the grille, wing mirrors and tailgate. Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is also now available. The top Z Prestige AT variant gets an 8-speaker sound system, which also includes roof-mounted speakers.
Talking about mechanical updates, this pick-up now only comes with shift-on-the-fly 4WD system. Auto-locking differential is standard in all variants, which improves off-roading capability. No changes have been made to the engine. It has the same 1.9-litre diesel engine, which produces 161 bhp power and 360 Nm torque. This engine is available with 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross 2026 model is available in three variants, which include 4WD MT Z, 4WD MT Z Prestige and 4WD AT Z Prestige. Its Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) is 2510 kg. This pick-up can be purchased in Silky White Pearl, Black Mica, Red Spinel Mica, Nautilus Blue, Galena Grey, Silver Metallic and Splash White colors.
