Kawasaki India has launched the 2026 Versys-X 300 in the country at a price of Rs 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It is one of the most affordable twin-cylinder motorcycles in the Indian market. The 2026 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is available in a single fully-loaded ‘Standard’ variant in Candy Lime Green Type 3 + Metallic Flat Spark Black.
The deliveries of this adventure bike will start from November 2025 and it will compete with the KTM 390 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 in the domestic market. The Versys-X 300 is Kawasaki’s most affordable adventure bike in India. Apart from this, the company also sells Versus 650 and Versus 1100 in India.
Based on a strong backbone frame, the 2026 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 includes distinctive adventure features such as a tall upper cowl, upright riding position, large front visor and a rear luggage carrier with four built-in hooks. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels shod with multi-purpose tube tyres. The ground clearance of this adventure bike is 180 mm.
Suspension duties are handled by 41 mm telescopic front forks (with 130 mm wheel travel) and a bottom-link uni-track gas-charged rear monoshock unit (with 148 mm wheel travel). Its fuel tank capacity is 17 litres. The 2026 Versys-X features a multi-function LCD display that includes a large analog tachometer, warning lamp and gear position indicator.
The 2026 Versys-X is powered by a 296 cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine that generates maximum power of 38.9 bhp at 11,500 rpm and peak torque of 26 Nm at 10,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and assist and slipper clutch. Kawasaki is also offering many accessories with this adventure bike like fog lamp, knuckle guard and center stand.
For braking, the 2026 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 gets a 290 mm single disc at the front and a 220 mm single disc at the rear. The weight of this adventure bike is 175 kg and its seat height is kept at 815 mm. Due to the low seat height, this bike is more comfortable for short height riders as compared to other bikes of its competition.
