The 2026 Tata Punch facelift gets changes to the exterior and interior, while the engine options remain the same.
The 2026 Tata Punch facelift will be launched in the Indian market tomorrow and has been spotted at multiple dealerships ahead of the launch. Tata Motors has confirmed that the updated Punch will be offered in a total of six variants. Its booking is expected to start soon, while customers will start receiving deliveries a few weeks after the launch.
Talking about the design, the 2026 Tata Punch facelift gets new headlamps, slim taillamps, black-finished alloy wheels, changed front and rear bumpers, new LED DRLs, a new grille section and an LED light bar at the rear, which seems to be inspired by its electric version. Along with the variants, Tata has also increased the list of standard features this time.
The entry-level Smart variant now comes with 6 airbags, LED headlamps, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Eco and City drive modes and remote keyless entry as standard. Apart from this, iTPMS and new ‘corporate’ designed steering wheel will also be available. The new micro SUV will be offered in 6 colors, which include Cyantafic, Caramel, Bengal Rouge, Daytona Grey, Coorg Clouds and Pristine White.
Talking about the engine, as before, the 2026 Tata Punch facelift will have both naturally aspirated and turbo options of 1.2-litre petrol engine. Gearbox options will remain the same, 5-speed manual and AMT, while the turbo petrol variant is likely to get a 6-speed manual. Along with this, CNG variant will also be available.
The Pure variant adds features like rear AC vents, steering-mounted controls, rear defogger and day-night IRVM. The Pure+ variant will have an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, reverse parking camera, cruise control, Type-C fast charging port and height-adjustable driver seat.
The Adventure variant will see a major upgrade in technology, which includes 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, push-button start, rear wiper-washer, automatic climate control, auto headlamps and rain-sensing wipers. This variant will run on 15-inch styled steel wheels.
Moving up to the Accomplished variant, you will get 16-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs, LED taillamps, larger 10.25-inch touchscreen, auto climate control and seats with better thigh support. The top-spec Accomplished+ variant comes with a voice-assisted electric sunroof, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, auto-dimming IRVM and Tata’s iRA connected car technology.
