3-Dore Mahindra Thar facelift will soon be available for sale in India and there will be many changes in the interior and exterior

Mahindra’s bet on Thar has been successful since 2020. This powerful off-road SUV has become one of the most liked lifestyle vehicles in India and the company has increased its range in the last few years. The company first launched the affordable 2WD variants and then brought a 5-door Thar Rox. Both the steps liked the customers very much.

The popularity of Thar has not decreased due to heavy demand. Mahindra is now focusing on giving a new look to its three-court model. Nearly five years after the launch of the second generation version, work on the update of this SUV is going on and has been seen several times during testing.

The facelifted Thar is expected to be launched this month. This update has come at a time when Mahindra is also showing her long -term goals. Recently, the company has introduced four concept models on the new generation platform. Also, testing of updated XUV700 is also going on, which will be launched in early 2026.

The glimpse of the 3-Dore Thar facelift is clear that its design is greatly affected by Mahindra Thar Rocks. It has a new front bumper which gives it a more powerful look. Fog lamp housing has been changed with sharp detailing. At the same time, light changes have been made to its identified grill and it is believed that the company can also add C-shape LED lights to give it a more modern look.

Along with the new design front face, the updated Thar will also have new styled alloy wheels that will make it different from the existing model. However, there is no hope of making any changes to its base by Mahindra as this SUV will retain its ladder-frame design and engine options. Which includes 1.5-liter diesel, 2.0-liter turbo petrol and 2.2-liter diesel powertrain.

Inside, a large upgrade will be seen in the facelifted Thar, which will include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system on the dashboard. There are also changes in the interior of facelifted 3-door Thar. The gear lever has a glimpse of a wireless charging pad. The cabin has a new steering wheel and the power window switch has now shifted to the doors instead of the center console. Also, it is expected that more modern features will be added to it which will improve both comfort and security.
