4 new Tata SUVs to be launched in the Indian market – From Sierra EV to Avinya

Tata Motors has recently launched many new cars and currently the company is at a good pace. Taking forward the success of 2025, the company is now planning to expand rapidly in the SUV segment. Many new SUVs will be launched at different prices, so that Tata can strengthen its hold and reach more customers. Here we have given information about 4 new SUVs to be launched in the Indian market.

1. Tata Sierra EV

After the initial response to the petrol-diesel engined Sierra, Tata is now preparing to launch the electric Sierra in India. The Sierra EV will be offered with two different battery pack options. It is expected to give a driving range of more than 500 km on a single charge, as much of its technical base will be taken from the Harrier EV. Special exterior and interior design elements will also be seen in the electric Sierra to give it a different identity from its ICE version.

2. Tata Punch EV Facelift

Tata Motors may launch the updated Punch EV in the first or second quarter of 2026. Punch EV, one of India’s best-selling electric SUVs, is now going to get many new updates. The facelift model is expected to have changes in the exterior design, improvements in the cabin and addition of new features. Apart from this, Tata can also introduce a bigger battery pack, which will make its driving range better than before.

3.Tata Avinya

Tata’s upcoming flagship electric series Avinya will be based on Jaguar Land Rover’s EMA (Electrified Modular Architecture) platform and may hit the market in India by the end of this year. The range is likely to start with the Sportback body style. Positioned in the premium electric segment, the Avinya series will also be developed in several body styles such as SUVs and MPVs.

4. New Generation Tata Nexon

Tata may launch the third generation Nexon in late 2026 or early 2027. This new generation Nexon is being developed within the company with the codename ‘Garuda’. Major changes will be seen in the exterior design and interior layout of the new Nexon. Additionally, significant updates are also possible in the powertrain. Tata may make changes to the existing engine and transmission options or offer better range in the electric version.
