The ex-showroom price of Aprilia Tuono 457 Special Edition has been kept at Rs 3.99 lakh in Maharashtra and this bike will be available in Mamba Black and Puma Gray colors.

Aprilia India has introduced a new Special Edition of its popular mid-performance naked motorcycle Tuono 457. Launched on the occasion of World Motorcycle Day, this bike is inspired by the iconic Aprilia Tuono 1000R of 2006. The company says that this new edition has been designed to make everyday riding more comfortable and premium. Its ex-showroom price in Maharashtra has been kept at Rs 3.99 lakh and its pre-booking has started at select Aprilia dealerships.

The new Tuono 457 Special Edition has been introduced in new color options like Mamba Black and Puma Grey. The bike has a new aerodynamic flyscreen, attractive graphics and updated branding. Its design is sharper and streetfighter looking than before, while the new flyscreen also provides better wind protection at high speeds.

Aprilia has made many changes in this special edition to improve riding comfort. It has a high handlebar, which gives the rider a more upright and comfortable sitting position. With this, a new seat, adjustable brake lever and better suspension have been provided, which provides a more comfortable riding experience on city roads and long journeys. The suspension has been specially tuned keeping Indian roads in mind.

Mechanically no changes have been made to the bike. It gets the same 457cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 35 kW (about 47.6 hp) of maximum power and 43.5 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with modern technologies like lightweight aluminum chassis, ride-by-wire throttle and multi-level traction control. The company claims that it is one of the most performance-oriented naked motorcycles in its segment.

Talking about the features, it has TFT digital instrument cluster, LED lighting system, coded key with immobilizer, self-diagnosis system and many connected features. Accessories like quickshifter, TPMS, USB charger, electronic anti-theft system and fork sliders will also be made available to the customers.

Aprilia says that the Tuono 457 Special Edition has been designed with a balance of superior comfort, modern technology and great performance. The company is now also giving a warranty of 4 years or 48,000 kilometers (whichever is earlier) on this bike. With new updates and attractive pricing, this motorcycle will try to further strengthen its position in the twin-cylinder naked segment in the Indian market.
