The updated Maruti Suzuki Brezza has received mild exterior changes, along with many new features and a new turbo-petrol engine.
Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Brezza compact SUV in the Indian market, which comes with more features than before, new turbo-petrol engine and better safety. Its ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 7.40 lakh to Rs 13.70 lakh. This compact SUV is available in LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+ variants. Customers get three engine options: turbo-petrol, NA petrol and CNG.
The biggest feature of the new Brezza is its 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine. This engine produces 110 hp power and 170 Nm torque and is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Apart from this, the earlier 1.5-litre petrol engine has also been continued, which can be purchased with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.
In the CNG variant, the company has provided underbody CNG tank, which does not affect the boot space. The LXi variant gets features like 6 airbags, hill hold assist with ESP, EBD with ABS, ISOFIX child seat mount, rear parking sensor, projector headlamps, LED taillamp and 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Whereas the VXi variant has been provided with automatic climate control, connected car technology and many additional comfort features. The ZXi variant gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, rear AC vents, cruise control and full LED lighting.
The ZXi+ variant comes with features like ventilated front seats, powered driver seat, head-up display (HUD), 360-degree camera, electric sunroof, ambient lighting and premium Arkamys audio system. The new Brezza has also received a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. Besides, it has three fuel options and more features than ever before.

The top variants come with many advanced safety features, including blind spot warning, safe exit warning, rear cross traffic alert, 360-degree camera, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and high-definition rear-view camera. Maruti Suzuki has also increased the exterior color options with the new Brezza. Two new colors Lustrous Beige and Vivacious Orange have been included in it.
Apart from this, Pearl Arctic White, Sizzling Red and Lustrous Beige colors can also be purchased in dual-tone option with Bluish Black roof. The existing color options like Splendid Silver, Magma Grey, Pearl Arctic White, Bluish Black and Sizzling Red will also be available as per the variant.

The mileage of the new Brezza also varies with different engine options. Turbo-petrol variants give a mileage of up to 20.47 km/litre. Whereas the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol manual variant gives a mileage of up to 21.09 km/litre and the automatic variant gives a mileage of up to 20.17 km/litre. The highest mileage is available in the CNG variant, which claims up to 26.90 km/kg. With different engine, gearbox and variant options, the new Brezza has become one of the most choice offering compact SUVs in its segment.
