The 2026 Bajaj Chetak now comes with Google Maps and ride modes as standard, and its top speed and power have also been increased from before.
Bajaj Auto has released a major update for its electric scooter Bajaj Chetak range. New features, better performance and a new naming system have been added to the 2026 model, which has been implemented on all variants from today. First of all, talking about the change in name, now the Chetak range is divided into three categories C 35, C 30 and C 25 under C Series.
This has made it easier for customers to understand different models. The biggest attraction of this update is Google Maps integration, which is provided in the top variant C 35 01. This feature is available directly in the Chetak app and replaces the mapping system provided earlier.
Besides, performance has also been improved. Now the top speed of C 35 01 and C 35 02 has become 80 km/hr, which was earlier 73 km/hr. Whereas the top speed of C 35 03 and C 30 01 is 70 km/hr, which was earlier 63 km/hr and the top speed of C 25 01 is 60 km/hr, which was earlier 55 km/hr.
Apart from this, the motor power in the top model has been increased from 4.5 kW to 4.8 kW, which has further improved the performance and also reduced the charging time. The C 30 01 now charges from 0 to 80% in just 2 hours 55 minutes, which is almost 1 hour faster than before.
Ride Modes (Sports and Eco) and Hill Hold Assist, which were earlier available at extra cost in some variants, have now been made standard on all models of the C 35 and C 30 series. Apart from this, now C 35 01 and C 35 02 also get the facility of OTA (Over-the-Air) update, through which the software and features of the scooter can be updated without going to the service center.
These updates improve the things that customers gave the most feedback on. Navigation, performance and features have now been made easier and better than ever before. Additionally, the entire range is now clearer and easier to understand with the new C Series name.
