Booking of Suzuki e-ACCESS electric scooter started in India, price Rs 1.88 lakh

With a powerful 4.1 kW motor and 15 Nm torque, Suzuki e-ACCESS delivers fast and smooth acceleration and the scooter’s response remains almost the same even with 10 percent battery left.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited has today announced the opening of bookings for its first electric scooter e-ACCESS in India. With this, Suzuki has taken a global step towards electric mobility in the two-wheeler segment, which has been started from India. The new e-ACCESS focuses on Suzuki’s reliability, durability and everyday usability. Suzuki e-ACCESS has been priced at Rs 1,88,490 (ex-showroom Delhi) and its booking has started at the dealership. After the start of sales, this scooter will also be available on Flipkart.

To give more options to the customers, the company has also introduced a new dual-tone color, which includes Metallic Mat Stellar Blue / Metallic Mat Fibroin Grey. Now Suzuki e-ACCESS will be available in a total of four attractive colors which include Metallic Mat Black / Bordeaux Red, Pearl Grace White / Fibroin Grey, Pearl Jade Green / Fibroin Gray and the new Stellar Blue dual-tone.

On this occasion, Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India, said, “Suzuki e-ACCESS is the company’s first global strategic electric vehicle. It comes with long battery life, better handling, smooth acceleration and premium quality. He said that the scooter has been designed in such a way that its ownership experience is easy, safe and stress-free.”

Suzuki e-ACCESS has been developed under Suzuki e-Technology, which has five key features. The scooter meets stringent global testing standards, including water submersion, extreme temperatures, vibration and battery safety tests. It has a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, which claims to give up to four times longer lifespan than traditional NMC batteries.

The scooter has a 4.1 kW electric motor, which generates 15 Nm torque. It also has three ride modes like Eco, Ride A and Ride B, reverse mode and regenerative braking. The maximum speed of Suzuki e-Access is 71 kmph and the company claims that it gives an IDC-certified range of up to 95 km on a single charge. The lightweight chassis and aluminum battery case ensure superior stability and smooth ride. Apart from this, features like LED lighting, two-tone alloy wheel and maintenance-free drive belt are also provided.

Suzuki has a network of more than 1,200 dealerships across the country where charging facilities are available. Besides, the company is also offering an extended warranty of 7 years/80,000 km. It is also offering buy-back offers, loyalty bonuses and attractive finance options. Existing Suzuki customers will also get a loyalty bonus of up to Rs 10,000.

And a welcome bonus of up to Rs 7,000 is also included for non-Suzuki customers. Also available are attractive retail finance options starting as low as 5.99%, along with flexible rental options at affordable rates for tenures ranging from 24 hours to 3 years.
