Maruti Suzuki Victoris has quickly gained a strong foothold in the Indian midsize SUV segment. In just less than five months of launch, the SUV has crossed the 50,000 units total sales mark, making it one of the fastest growing midsize SUVs in India. Victoris has been witnessing consistently good sales since its launch in September 2025.
Monthly sales figures have remained stable and strong since its launch, reflecting its growing popularity among customers. The demand for Victoris has been excellent since the first month. By the beginning of October 2025, its booking had exceeded 25,000 units. Additionally, commencement of deliveries during Navratri and festive season further boosted sales and the dealerships witnessed good footfall.
Although sales were limited to September 2025, Victoris still recorded sales of 4,261 units. Whereas in October 2025, 13,496 units of this SUV were sold. During this period, it had registered sales of 3,000 units more than the Grand Vitara, leaving behind many rival SUVs in its segment.
Victoris sold 12,300 units in November 2025, taking total sales to over 30,000 units in just two and a half months of launch. After this, its total sales crossed 50,000 units with sales of 15,240 units in January 2026, which proves its strong market hold.
Maruti Suzuki Victoris is priced between Rs 10.49 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available in six variants. Customers get petrol, CNG and strong hybrid options in it. The hybrid version has been specially introduced for mileage conscious customers, with a claimed mileage of up to 28.65 kmpl. The CNG variant has an underfloor tank, which provides more boot space.
Victoris can be bought in both 2WD and AWD options. In terms of safety, this SUV has achieved 5-star safety rating in both Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP, making it one of the safest vehicles in the segment. This 5-seater midsize SUV is sold in India through the Arena dealership network, while it is also being exported to some international markets by rebadging it as Across.
With strong sales, strong features, good mileage and high safety ratings, Maruti Suzuki Victoris is fast emerging as a strong contender in the Indian midsize SUV segment and its demand is likely to increase in the future.
