Agra-based electric vehicle company NIJ Automotive has launched its electric scooter Accelero+ in India. Notably, the Accelero+ price starts at Rs 53,000 and goes up to Rs 98,000 (all prices ex-showroom) depending on the battery pack. It has three riding modes and can be driven up to 190 kms on a full charge. However, this range can only be found in Eco mode with a dual lithium ferro phosphate battery setup. City riding mode This range drops to 120 kms.
The Accelero+ gets the same design as the rest of the electric scooters. It gets large LED DRLs on the handlebar cowl and dual LED headlights below. With this turn indicators are available. The NIJ Accelero+ features a digital speedometer, USB charging, reverse assist and charge port. The scooter has telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear.

The electric scooter is 1,720mm long, 690mm wide and 1,100mm high. The Accelero+ has a wheelbase of 1,280mm and a ground clearance of 175mm. The electric scooter weighs 86 kg and has a maximum loading capacity of 150 kg. It gets 180 mm disc brake at the front wheel and drum brake at the rear.

The electric scooter is offered with two types of battery packs – Valve Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA) and Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP). Where the lead-acid battery pack can be fully charged in 6 to 8 hours through 3A power socket. At the same time, the Lithium Ferro Phosphate battery pack can be charged in 3 to 4 hours via 6A socket.
