The Citroen Aircross
Citroën India is constantly making changes to strengthen itself in the Indian automobile market. In this context, the company has implemented its new strategy ‘Citroën 2.0’, under which important updates and new variants are being introduced in the portfolio. Under this strategy, earlier X versions were launched and now the company has launched new variants like Aircross
Both models will be available only on booking and will be manufactured only after firm orders from customers. The Citroen Aircross This SUV is available in three trims with You, Plus and Max. Earlier the Max trim was available only in 7-seater (5+2) layout, while the 5-seater option was limited to You and Plus.
Now Citroen has launched Aircross X Max Turbo 5S, which is priced at Rs 12.41 lakh. It comes with a manual gearbox and is cheaper than the Max Turbo 7S (₹12.8 lakh). This is the first time that a 5-seater variant of the Aircross has been introduced with a turbo petrol engine.
This variant gets a large boot space of 444 liters and three color options are given, which include Polar White, Deep Forest and Perla Nera Black. Talking about the features, it has 60 mm more knee-room for the second row, cup holders with rear center armrest, three-step seat recline and Fauve dark brown interior theme, which makes it more comfortable.
Along with this, Citroen has also introduced a new Live (O) variant for its most affordable hatchback C3. It is positioned between the Live and Feel trims. Only one exterior color Perla Nera Black is available in this variant. The C3 Live (O) comes with over 10 features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support), speakers, rear-view camera, chrome touch fog lamps, wheel covers, side body cladding and wheel arch cladding, making it more attractive to entry-level buyers.
Kumar Priyesh, Business Head, Stellantis India, said, “Under the Citroën 2.0 strategy, the company is introducing products accordingly by rapidly understanding the needs of the customers. The booking-based model is creating a better coordination between demand and production. Overall, through the new variants, Citroën India is taking another important step towards strengthening its hold in the Indian market and attracting more customers.”
