Hyundai Creta tops the top 10 midsize SUV sales list in October 2025 with 18,381 units
The competition in India’s midsize SUV segment continues to be fierce and the sales figures for October 2025 clearly show how important this segment has become. Despite the arrival of many new cars, some old and popular SUVs still dominate the market. Hyundai Creta, Mahindra Scorpio and Maruti Suzuki Victoris have secured the top positions this time too.
Hyundai Creta once again maintained its dominance. It sold 18,381 units in October 2025, which is a growth of 5 percent year-on-year as compared to 17,497 units sold in the same period last year. Mahindra Scorpio, which was right behind it, sold 18,107 units and this figure has increased by 14 percent compared to last year. Scorpio’s strength, strong road presence and the strategy of both Classic and N models is proving beneficial for the company.
In this list, Maruti Suzuki Victoris has got the third position with 13,496 units. Victoris had over 25,000 bookings in just a few weeks. It comes in both petrol and hybrid options and has also received a 5-star rating in safety in GNCAP and Bharat NCAP.

11,555 units of Toyota Hyrider were sold, which shows a huge increase of 112 percent compared to last year. A total of 5,449 units were sold in October 2024 and its strong hybrid system is being liked by the buyers. In comparison, sales of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara were 10,409 units, which is 26 percent less than last year. It is believed that Victoris has affected its sales.
At the same time, Mahindra Its facelift version will be launched next year. Kia’s Seltos has been ranked seventh in the list with sales of 7,130 units and its sales have increased by 12 percent.
Tata Harrier ranked eighth in the list with 4,483 units sold in October 2025, a growth of 130 per cent year-on-year as compared to 1,947 units sold in the same period last year. Whereas Safari has sold 2,510 units last month. The last position in the list is taken by Honda Elevate with 2,186 units and a sales growth of 2 percent year-on-year.
