Honda ZR-V will be a CBU model in India and it will get a 2.0-litre hybrid engine, which will give power of 180 HP and it will be available with e-CVT automatic gearbox.
Honda Cars India has released the first official teaser images of the ZR-V SUV ahead of its launch on May 22. In this teaser, the front design of the SUV is shown in dark silhouette. It has wide L-shaped LED DRLs, a shining Honda logo in the middle and a front grille design like the global model.
The ZR-V’s headlamps are placed low on the front fascia and feature sharp LED elements. Its design looks wider and sportier than the Elevate. The SUV will get a sloping roofline and wide front design, which will make its look more sporty and like a coupe-like SUV.
The teaser also shows a glimpse of roof rails, which further enhances its practical and sporty design. The Honda ZR-V will come to India as a fully imported model (CBU) and will be positioned as the company’s flagship SUV. Its price could be around Rs 40 lakh to Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).
This SUV will have a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder hybrid engine, which will generate power of 180 HP. This engine will come with e-CVT automatic gearbox. This hybrid setup is used by Honda in many of its global models and is known for better mileage and smooth performance.
As per the global model, the ZR-V measures 4,568 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width and 1,620 mm in height, while its wheelbase is 2,657 mm. The same dimensions are expected to be available in the Indian model also. Talking about the features, it will get advanced features like large free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, powered driver seat, powered tailgate, wireless charging and ADAS.
The Honda ZR-V will be launched on May 22 along with the 2026 Honda City facelift. The company is preparing to strengthen its premium and wide product lineup in India through this double launch. At the same time, the new Honda City Facelift has also started reaching dealerships. New colors like black and white will be seen in it. Many changes have been made in its exterior, due to which its look has become sportier than before. Also, new features and technology have been added to the cabin, while the engine and gearbox options remain the same.
