The new Renault Duster will be unveiled in the Indian market on January 26 and will be based on the CMF-B platform.
Renault has released the first teaser of the next-generation Duster for the Indian market and it will be revealed on January 26, 2026. The teaser shows a glimpse of the new design. The glimpses show strong roof rails, a raised bonnet, sleek LED indicators, LED light bar at the rear, rear wiper, new Renault logo and a dark blue body.
The size and look of the production-ready SUV is similar to the model sold in Europe, but with some new styling changes for India. Its front design looks sharper than before, with LED DRLs provided inside the headlamps. The front bumper has been slightly revised keeping the Indian roads in mind, although its straight and strong look still remains intact.
The side profile can be seen with raised character lines, square wheel arches, thick cladding and large 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, which may have a Y-shaped design. The roof rails are similar to the Euro-spec model, while the rear design looks completely new. In this, a light strip has been given in place of Y-pattern taillamps.
The new Duster will be built on Renault-Nissan’s CMF-B platform. This platform has been localized to a great extent for India, so that the price of the vehicle can be kept affordable and competitive. This SUV will be manufactured at Renault’s Oragadam factory. Later, its other variants will also be developed on this platform. This will also include a three-row i.e. 7-seater model, which the company is planning to launch in the next financial year.
Talking about the cabin, the interior of the upcoming Duster may be quite similar to the international model. It is expected to get a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as a 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster. Apart from this, modern center console, electronic gear selector and sporty interior accents can also be provided.
The list of features may include wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, multiple Type-C fast charging ports, level-2 ADAS system and leather-wrapped steering wheel. Although Renault has not yet given official information regarding the powertrain, the new Duster for the Indian market is expected to get two petrol engine options, which will be offered with manual and automatic transmission.
