BMW Motorrad’s electric scooter BMW CE 02 is getting a huge discount of more than Rs 2 lakh in the Indian market. It is believed that this offer is applicable on those units of MY25 which are still available in stock at select BMW dealers across the country. The starting ex-showroom price of BMW CE 02, launched in India in October 2024, was Rs 4.50 lakh. For complete information, customers can contact their nearest showroom or dealer.
The BMW CE 02 is built on a strong twin-loop steel frame. It has upside-down (USD) front forks at the front and preload adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear, which makes the ride more stable and comfortable. For braking, a 239 mm disc brake is available at the front and a 220 mm disc brake at the rear, which is supported by single-channel ABS. 14-inch wheels have been installed on both sides.
In the standard variant itself, it has features like full LED lighting, 3.5-inch TFT screen and reverse assist. Ride modes like Flow, Surf and Flash are available in BMW CE 02. The Highline package offers additional features like Bluetooth interface, SP Connect smartphone holder, Flash riding mode, 1.5 kW quick charger and heated grips.
This electric scooter is available in Cosmic Black and Granite Gray Metallic Matt color options. Its weight is 142 kg and seat height is 745 mm. The features list is also quite long, which includes cast aluminum alloy wheels, single-sided swingarm, BMW Motorrad ABS, 3.5-inch micro TFT display, USB-C charging socket, electric reverse gear, keyless ride, Automatic Stability Control (ASC) and Recuperation Stability Control (RSC).
The scooter is equipped with a 3.9 kWh battery pack and gives an iCAT-certified range of 108 km on a single charge. Its electric motor generates power of 14.7 bhp and torque of 55 Nm. CE 02 accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h in just 3 seconds and its top speed is 95 km/h.
It gets a standard charger of 0.9 kW, while the option of a 1.5 kW quick charger is available with the Highline package. Opting for the Highline variant gets some additional features, which include heated grips, tri-tone seat, gold finish front forks, different design highlights and a fast charger etc.
