Hero Splendor ranked first in the list of 10 best selling bikes in May 2026, followed by Honda Shine, Bajaj Pulsar, Hero HF Deluxe and TVS Apache in the top 5 respectively.
In May 2026, Hero MotoCorp’s Splendor was once again the country’s best-selling motorcycle. 3,48,115 units of this commuter bike were sold, whereas in May 2025, 3,10,335 units were sold. In this way, the sales of Splendor registered an increase of 12.17 percent on annual basis and it was far ahead of all other motorcycles.
Honda Shine stood second in the list with sales of 1,55,441 units. However, compared to last year, there has been a slight decline of 1.79 percent in its sales. Bajaj Pulsar took the third position in the list with sales of 1,24,270 units and its sales increased by 1.73 percent year-on-year.
Hero HF Deluxe suffered the biggest decline. Its 66,722 units were sold in May 2026, whereas in the same month last year this figure was 1,07,768 units. Despite this, HF Deluxe remained at fourth position. TVS Apache took the fifth position in the list with sales of 53,900 units and recorded a growth of 9.78 percent in its sales.
Honda Unicorn was in sixth place, with 34,925 units sold. Its sales have seen a strong growth of 22.05 percent on an annual basis. TVS Raider stood seventh in the list with 34,852 units, although its sales registered a slight decline of 1.55 percent on an annual basis.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 took the eighth position in the list with sales of 34,594 units. Its sales increased by more than 20 percent on an annual basis. Bajaj Platina stood ninth in the list with 26,467 units, while its sales registered a decline of 5.20 percent.
Royal Enfield Bullet 350 secured the tenth position in the top 10 list. Its 23,372 units were sold in May 2026, which is 35.26 percent more than last year. It was also the model registering the fastest annual growth among the top 10 motorcycles. Overall, Splendor continued to dominate sales, while motorcycles like Bullet 350, Unicorn, Classic 350 and Apache also registered strong growth.
