Hero MotoCorp to debut electric motorcycle at EICMA 2025 to be held in Milan, Italy
Hero MotoCorp has released teaser images of its upcoming Vida electric motorcycle concept, revealing major design updates and giving a glimpse of its most production-ready electric motorcycle yet. Called Project VXZ, the new concept sports a powerful streetfighter look and will play an important role in expanding the Vida sub-brand’s lineup.
Interestingly, the VXZ was earlier shown as the “Ubex” concept in a social post, which the company later removed. It has now been revealed that the Ubex will be a separate off-road based concept, which will also be showcased at EICMA 2025. The motoring exhibition in Milan, Italy will begin on November 4, 2025.
The new teaser shows many new changes compared to the earlier design. The headlamp cluster now has a sharper looking design, with slim LED DRLs and projector headlights. At the rear, there is a neat tail section, which has a stepped split seat and split grab rails. Apart from this, the bike can also get 5-spoke alloy wheels and front and rear disc brakes.
The teaser also gives a glimpse of its strong tank and wide handlebar setup. The instrument panel is expected to be a TFT unit and may feature ride modes, turn-by-turn navigation and connected technologies. It seems that the VXZ will also have a belt drive system. It may also have a mid-mounted electric motor with the battery pack located below.
This setup will help in keeping the weight of the bike properly balanced and will also make it suitable for an aggressive streetfighter riding position. Hero has not yet shared its technical details like range, battery capacity and power output. The Vida VXZ has upside-down forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear, which improves the riding quality.
Overall, the design of the Vida VXZ looks like a more modern and sleek take on the Extreme range, with some futuristic features as well. However, to know its real look and details we will have to wait for its official launch. The teaser clearly shows that the Vida VXZ is now very close to production, and Hero is likely to launch it in the coming months to establish a strong foothold in the rapidly growing electric bike market.
