Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced an expanded portfolio of 10 motorcycles and scooters for the Indian market. It includes 7 brand new models and 3 updated models with new color options. This new range includes products across cruiser, adventure tourer, roadster, lifestyle riding, electric and flex-fuel mobility, which will cater to the needs of different segments of customers. Local manufacturing of these models in India is a significant achievement in the growth journey of HMSI. This will further strengthen the company’s product development, engineering and manufacturing capabilities in India. Additionally, customers will have better access to Honda’s global technologies and local sourcing and manufacturing will also be encouraged.

In order to make riding more convenient, Honda E-Clutch technology will also be made available in select models of this portfolio. The company will launch these new products in the market in a phased manner. Honda ADV 160 – City Adventure Scooter
Honda has introduced the ADV 160 with the ‘City Adventure’ concept for Indian customers. Equipped with a 160 cc water-cooled engine, this scooter is a great combination of adventure styling, modern features and powerful performance. It has been designed keeping in mind the customers who want SUV-like road presence, scooter convenience and superior performance for everyday commuting as well as weekend rides. Honda ADV 160 will be the first scooter in India to support E85 flex-fuel (85 percent ethanol blended fuel). It will have an 8.1 liter fuel tank and 27 liter under-seat storage, which the company has introduced as its segment leading features.
Honda CB 500 – The Honda Heritage Roadster
Honda has added the CB 500 to its new portfolio as ‘The Honda Heritage Roadster’. The motorcycle offers a perfect blend of retro-sporty design, modern technology and reliable performance for everyday use.
