After Maruti Suzuki, now Hyundai Motor India has also announced a slight increase in the prices of its cars to reduce the impact of rising costs.
Hyundai Motor India has announced that it will increase the prices of its cars in India by up to Rs 12,800. The new prices will be applicable from June 1, 2026. The company says that the input cost has increased significantly and now it is becoming difficult to handle it completely at its own level. However, Hyundai is passing on only a part of this to customers. At present, the company has not told how much the price will increase on which model and variant.
Hyundai currently sells a total of 9 models in India, spanning from entry-level to premium segments. The cheapest car of the company is Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, whose price starts from Rs 5.55 lakh and goes up to Rs 7.72 lakh (ex-showroom). Its taxi version ‘Hyundai Prime HB’ is also available, which is priced at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Above this comes the Hyundai Exter, whose price starts from Rs 5.79 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.40 lakh (ex-showroom). Whereas the price of Hyundai i20 ranges from Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 11.67 lakh (ex-showroom). Hyundai Aura, which is a sedan based on the Grand i10 Nios, is priced between Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 8.54 lakh (ex-showroom). Its taxi version ‘Hyundai Prime SD’ is available at Rs 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
The price of the company’s compact SUV Hyundai Venue starts at Rs 7.99 lakh and the top variant goes up to Rs 15.82 lakh (ex-showroom). Hyundai’s premium range starts with the Hyundai Creta, which is the company’s best-selling SUV. Its price ranges from Rs 10.79 lakh to Rs 20.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
Its electric version Hyundai Creta Electric is also available, whose price ranges from Rs 18.02 lakh to Rs 24.69 lakh (ex-showroom). Hyundai Verna prices start from Rs 10.98 lakh and go up to Rs 18.40 lakh (ex-showroom). Whereas the price of 7-seater Hyundai Alcazar ranges between Rs 14.49 lakh to Rs 21.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The company’s flagship electric car Hyundai Ioniq 5 currently comes in only one variant and is priced at Rs 55.70 lakh (ex-showroom). Hyundai will launch many new cars in the coming years, which will include a new electric car, new generation Creta, off-roader models.
