Under the BaaS scheme, the starting price of Creta Electric is Rs 10.99 lakh. However, for the battery, customers will have to pay a separate EMI of Rs 3.9 per kilometer.

Hyundai Motor India has now introduced the Creta Electric with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model. Under this new scheme, customers can buy Creta Electric at a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Apart from this, integrated side foot step is also now provided in Creta Electric. Keeping in view the customer demand, the company has now started offering 7.4 kW wall box charger along with Home Charger (HC) variants. Apart from these changes, there has been no change in the design, features and battery options of Creta Electric. As before, it will be available in 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh battery pack options.

According to him, the introduction of Battery-as-a-Service for Creta Electric is a big step towards taking electric mobility to more people in India. With this scheme, customers will have to pay less while buying a car. Easy payment options will also be available for the battery, so that more people will be able to buy Hyundai’s electric car without spending much and enjoy its modern Will be able to take advantage of technology and security features.”

Hyundai Creta Electric prices for the non-BaaS model start from Rs 18.03 lakh and go up to Rs 24.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). That is, if choosing BaaS plan, customers will have to pay more than Rs 7 lakh less initially. However, instead they will have to pay per kilometer for the battery.

Talking about the features, Creta Electric has been provided with modern features like Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), Digital Key, Single Pedal Drive and Active Air Flaps. It supports DC fast charging and its battery charges from 10 to 80 percent in just 39 minutes. With 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh battery packs, it claims to offer a range of up to 510 km (ARAI certified) on a single charge.

Hyundai Creta Electric comes with a battery warranty of 8 years or 1.60 lakh km (whichever is earlier).
