Hyundai sold a total of 2,08,275 units in Q4 FY2025-26, which is 8.7 percent more than last year.
Hyundai Motor India Limited has recorded strong sales performance in March 2026 and the fourth quarter (Q4) of financial year 2025-26. The company has achieved highest ever sales in the domestic market during the quarter for the first time in its history, further highlighting its strong position in the Indian automobile market.
Between January to March 2026, Hyundai has sold a total of 2,08,275 units, which is 8.67 percent higher as compared to 1,91,650 units in the same period last year. In this, domestic sales stood at 1,66,578 units, which is the company’s best quarterly domestic sales so far with an annual growth of 8.48 percent. At the same time, exports also increased by 9.44 percent to 41,697 units.
Hyundai also set a new record in March 2026. The company sold 55,064 units domestically this month, which is 6.26 percent more than 51,820 units in March 2025. In comparison to February 2026, an increase of 5.07 percent has been recorded. Overall in March 2026, the company sold 69,004 units, which included exports of 13,940 units. However, exports saw a decline of 10.06 percent in March.

The company’s Managing Director and CEO Tarun Garg said, “Continuing the momentum achieved in 2026, Hyundai has recorded the highest ever domestic sales in Q4. He further said that models like the newly updated Hyundai Verna and Hyundai Exter will further strengthen the future growth of the company. He also said that there are some uncertainties in the global situation, but Hyundai is financially successful in India on the basis of its strong product portfolio, connected technology and better customer experience. All set to perform well in the year 2026-27 also.”
The main reason for this growth of the company has been the strong demand in the domestic market. Hyundai’s wide range of hatchbacks, sedans and SUVs is attracting customers. Additionally, recently updated models have also boosted sales. Recently the company has launched the updated Exeter, the starting price of which has been kept at Rs 5.79 lakh (ex-showroom). More than 25 upgrades have been given in this new version of micro SUV. According to the company, since its launch, Exter has received more than 2 lakh customers in India.
Apart from this, the company has also launched the updated Verna and its starting price has been kept at Rs 10,98,400. Exterior updates include black chrome radiator grille, dual LED projector headlamps, new bold front and rear bumper design, R16 diamond cut alloy wheels. In the interior, many features like D-Cut steering wheel, leatherette seat upholstery, 8-way electric adjustable driver seat, driver memory seat for the first time in the segment have been provided.
