The effect of this was that the demand for cars of the country’s largest car company Maruti (Maruti) and Hyundai (Hyundai) decreased in April. Both these companies suffered losses of more than 10% on a yearly basis. At the same time, Tata has become the first choice of the people to bring out many great models one after the other. Skoda cars drew people
Skoda sold 961 cars in April 2021, but the company’s sales figure changed completely in a year. In April 2022, it sold 5,152 cars, leaving behind giants like Maruti, Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra. That is, the company got a bang growth of 436% on a yearly basis. Even though other companies sold more units than Skoda, but in terms of growth, they did not even close to it. Skoda sold 4,191 more units on a year-on-year basis last month. The amazing thing is that the overall sales of companies like MG, Nissan, Volkswagen, Jeep, Force were less than this figure.

Now Tata is the first choice of people
2021 has been a great year for Tata. While the company launched Punch on one hand, the Altroz also got a tremendous response from the customers. Alam is that till now the demand for both these cars remains. Tata sold 41,587 units last month with an annual growth of 65%. In April 2021, the company sold 25,095 cars. That is, the company sold more than 16,492 units last month. The Punch and Altroz with Tata’s 5-star safety rating are in high demand. Long waiting is also being found on these cars. Maruti, Hyundai car sales down
Maruti sold over 1 lakh cars last month, but its sales declined by 10.22% on a year-on-year basis. In April 2021, Maruti sold 1,35,879 cars. At the same time, in April 2022, it sold 1,21,995 cars. That is, its 13,884 units were sold less. On the other hand, Hyundai also posted a loss of 10.21% on a year-on-year basis. The company sold 44,001 cars last month. Whereas, in April 2021, it sold 49,002 cars. That is, its 5,001 units were sold less on an annual basis. Similarly, Honda has lost 13.21% year-on-year and Renault 12.13%.
