2026 Honda City will get a new look and updated interior, but the engine and other mechanical things will remain the same.
Honda Cars India has released the official teaser of the new City facelift on social media ahead of its launch in Delhi on May 22. However, images of the 2026 Honda City facelift have already been leaked and now the sedan has started arriving at dealerships. Meanwhile, many pictures of the new Honda City facelift have surfaced from the showroom.
In the pictures, the new Honda City facelift is seen in black and white color. Apart from this, many new color options are expected to be available. The special thing is that black color has been newly added to this facelift model, which gives it a more sporty and premium look. Talking about the exterior, the new City has been provided with new LED projector headlamps, which have eyebrow-style LED DRLs.
The front grille is now thinner than before and the new front bumper comes with more black elements, making the car look sharper. New 16-inch alloy wheels have also been provided. At the rear, changes like smoked-effect LED taillamps, new rear bumper and integrated spoiler are seen.
Many new features have also been added to the interior so that it can compete better with sedans like Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia and Volkswagen Virtus. Ventilated seats will now be available in the new Honda City facelift. Its controls are given near the automatic climate control. However, the climate control will still be a single-zone system.
The design of the center console is almost the same as before but it gets new cup holders and a wireless charger shifted upwards and the infotainment screen is now bigger than before. Apart from this, it will also have 360-degree camera system and front camera. The special thing is that Honda’s Lane Watch Assist feature has been retained.
The existing 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine and 1.5-litre strong hybrid petrol engine will continue. The petrol engine produces 121 HP power and 145 Nm torque, while the hybrid version generates around 126 HP power. Transmission options will include 6-speed manual and CVT gearbox as before.
