The price of Jeep Wrangler Willys 1941 Special Edition is Rs 2 lakh more than the standard Wrangler Rubicon, while Rs 3.6 lakh will have to be paid separately for the accessory pack.

Paying respect to its historical military heritage, Jeep India has re-launched Jeep Wrangler Willys 1941 Special Edition in the Indian market. Even before this, this special edition was introduced and according to the company, it received an overwhelming response from the customers, due to which all its units were sold out quickly.

This special edition is available at authorized Jeep dealerships across the country. Its price has been kept Rs 2 lakh more than the standard Rubicon variant (whose ex-showroom price is Rs 68.31 lakh). At the same time, the price of optional accessory pack is Rs 3.6 lakh. This special edition is inspired by the original Willys MB of 1941, which played a key role in establishing Jeep’s identity around the world.

The new model draws inspiration from the same classic design, but retains the strong off-road capabilities of the existing Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Only 41 vehicles of the Jeep Wrangler Willys 1941 Special Edition will be made. Therefore, it is one of the most exclusive and limited number of Wranglers available in India. Each vehicle has unique stickers and markings to reflect its military history and limited edition status.

Talking about the features, Wrangler Willys 1941 Special Edition has been provided with powered side steps, which makes it easy to get in and out. Apart from this, integrated dash cam system has also been installed. Some special accessories have also been added to further enhance its adventure appeal.

If customers want, they can make it even more special with an optional accessory pack. This pack includes a roof-mounted carrier, side ladder and ‘Sunrider’ rooftop system. Mechanically, the SUV is similar to the Wrangler Rubicon, with a stronger four-wheel-drive system and off-road hardware.

Speaking on the occasion, Kumar Priyansh, Business Head and Director (Automotive Brands), Stellantis India, said, “The legacy of Willys is not just a story, it is the foundation of Jeep’s identity. The Wrangler Willys 41 2.0 pays tribute to that heritage by combining the classic looks of yesteryear with the modern technology of today.”
