The price of Kia Carens CNG kit is Rs 77,900 and the CNG kit installed in it is from a famous company named Lovato.
Kia India has introduced a new CNG model of Carens for customers looking for higher mileage. Instead of getting it ready from the factory, the company has chosen to install Lovato’s certified CNG kit at the dealership. This kit is government approved and will be installed by authorized Kia dealers.
The Kia Carens CNG comes with a warranty of three years or 1,00,000 kilometres, the same coverage as the regular Kia models. The base Premium (O) petrol trim is priced at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and the CNG configuration will cost you Rs 77,900 extra over the standard variant, making it a good option.
Although the CNG kit is installed at the dealership, the company assures that there will be no reduction in warranty and safety standards. Kia Carens CNG has a 1.5-litre petrol engine, which produces 113 hp power and 144 Nm torque. It has a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Carens is a very popular 7-seater car in India, which is considered to be an excellent and useful option for families.
It rivals the top-spec trims of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. On the inside, Kia continues to maintain the dual-tone black and beige interior theme, which is further enhanced by semi-leatherette upholstery along with indigo accents on the dashboard and door pads.
