The KYT R1R comes to market as a premium racing helmet for riders who want ultimate performance, advanced safety and true racing technology
KYT Helmets has launched its new premium full-face racing helmet KYT R1R in the Indian market. Its starting price has been kept at Rs 39,000. The helmet has been developed with input from the company’s MotoGP racing program and is specifically designed for riders who want high-performance, advanced safety and racing-level engineering.
KYT R1R is designed and developed in Italy with the help of advanced digital tools. It has been through wind tunnel testing and road-track validation for more than three years. Its aerodynamic design helps maintain stability at high-speed, be it straight line, sharp braking or cornering.
This helmet has a tri-composite shell, in which carbon fiber, aramid fiber and fiberglass have been used. This makes it strong as well as light. It has a multi-density EPS liner inside, which provides better protection in different impact zones. This helmet also meets the ECE 22.06 safety standard, which is the latest and strictest safety standard in Europe.
The design of the KYT R1R is based on wind tunnel testing, resulting in reduced drag and improved high-speed stability. It has an advanced ventilation system, which provides better airflow and cooling through front air intake, rear spoiler and Venturi-effect system.
Hydrocool fabric has been used inside the helmet, which quickly reduces heat and sweat and maintains comfort during long riding periods. This helmet offers 210-degree horizontal and 90-degree vertical field of view, which gives better visibility to the rider.
The visor has Optical Class 1 clarity and roto-translation mechanism, which ensures better sealing. It also has a metal alloy racing lock system, which keeps the visor secure at high speeds. The color graphics variant of the KYT R1R is priced at Rs 39,000, while the carbon graphics and replica variants are available at Rs 43,500. This helmet is available at authorized KYT dealerships across the country.
